Project Overviewx
This project consisted of 74 modular building sections to make a 114 room hotel. This unique design combines modular boxes and a site-built common area.
Through extreme weather, including freezing temperatures and record snowfall for the area, Accuset Construction closely monitored weather patterns moving throughout the area in order to schedule craning and other work that was needed in order to keep the modular buildings dry.
Due to the property footprint and congested onsite ingress and egress, there was limited space to stage the units and get them shuttled to the crane. Accuset Construction utilized specialized equipment including a crawler and modular trailer to move the units on-site in order to keep the crane operating at maximized efficiency while trucks were going from the construction site back to the staging yard to get the next building sections needed to crane. This created a highly efficient workflow within crowded conditions and unpredictable weather.
