Project Overviewx
Kent School District needed a bigger building dedicated to its growing special needs community. The original building was too small, lacked modern efficiencies, and was situated in an area needed for other facility functions.
The District demolished the original building and worked with a developer to create a new modular space that would be placed in an old baseball field. The developer selected an excavator to lay in a new foundation, and once again turned to Accuset Construction to manage the modular install.
After the foundation was set and the modular building was constructed and delivered, Accuset Construction stepped in to install the unit using a translift and halo crane. The building was set and the installation was accomplished within a few hours.
The equipment management and installation efficiencies provided by Accuset Construction enabled the developer to send in tradespeople who completed the project well within the original scope.
